What ever happened to.... the coloured stripey fabric?

Do you remember when I had a little giveaway of this stripey jersey knit fabric?

Well the lucky winner, Amy from SewAmySew went pattern free and created this fabulous skirt.  I was so excited to see this fabric made up, as when I originally bought the fabric thought I might make a top, but her skirt really is the perfect use for this fabric.  I just love the little detail at the back.  Head on over to her blog and check it out.

In other sewing news, I finished my Sinbad and Sailor O'Keefe skirt on the weekend, so hope to post that soon.

  4. She has matched it so well hasn't she! I was going to wear my skirt on Monday to work but the weather was really wintery so didn't feel it. Hope to tomorrow so will try and get some sneaky shots in before work. What are you sewing at the moment?

  5. Nothing unfortunately as my sewing machine is still packed away - our new house is taking a lot more time and effort to get ready than we thought! When I do get the sewing machine out though I think some curtains for the nursery will be my 1st project!
